Randy’s perspective

“Starting my work with Randy is the best thing I have ever done for myself. When I walked into his office for the first time, it was time for me to explore very hurt and scared parts of myself. Randy’s compassionate presence made a safe place, wide and deep, for me to give those parts some gentle attention. His guidance helped me find my way to a more intimate and integrated connection with my true self. The things I learned from Randy continue to brighten my life every single day.”

Discover your truth

All my life I have looked for safe places to discover and speak the truth. Such places were scarce in my family and the community in which I grew up.

Over 35 years ago, I started my career as a clinical social worker serving families that abused or neglected their kids. I worked hard to find out the truth of what the children experienced and the truth of what the parents needed to properly care for their children. Finding those truths was not easy.

For 14 years, I advocated for the young, the sick, and the elderly and managed programs that served these populations. I later returned to direct service and began my private practice serving the greater Atlanta area. With my own practice, as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), I can better help individuals address a range of issues using a customized approach for each person.

My support, your motivation
Life is difficult. Discerning and discovering what is true for you is hard work. Providing a safe place for my clients to discover the truth is the foundation of all that I offer. A significant part of my work is helping you increase your clarity about who you are so you can develop your own self-care.

There is no one magic answer. I am committed to providing you my knowledge, wisdom, paradigms, and skill. But healing depends on your own motivation, courage, curiosity, and openness to discover what is true for you. I believe you do not get the life you want, you get the life you create. My role is to support you in your journey to create that life.

Therapeutic approaches
Throughout my career, I’ve explored numerous well-developed therapeutic approaches and spiritual traditions. Each offers knowledge, wisdom, and skills that can help my clients heal and grow. Depending on your unique situation, I will recommend an approach to best support your goals.
